Subscription for all the devices I checked are AUD 53.97 instead of the usual 89.95.
Not a fan of this company which somehow manages to make devices with horrible user interfaces, but I was waiting for a promotion like this to update the GPS built into my car.
Not sure when the sale ends.

I had the tomtom app when I had an iPhone 4.
I have to say it was the best navigator I have ever used.
Easy to use interface and directions were clear
Yeah I tend to use the Tom Tom app still for driving directions, mainly because I like how the directions are read out over some other options.
The apps also a one time purchase. Got it shortly after it came out and have got many a map update since then. Wasn't aware they still charged to update maps for dedicated devices. $53 for a year seems pretty steep to me and is probably as much if not more than I originally paid for the iPhone app.
Tried a few international TomTom websites and all seem to have 40% off. Price difference not as per current exchange rate.

Sorry, I know the apple navigator is absolute rubbish, but Google Maps is just as good and it's free.
Tomtom app for iPhone would indicate where fixed speed cameras are, probably the best feature about it.
Other than that you are right on the money.
Apple maps is garbage.
