    I agree it depends on the need/want for something else in the sale. I don't like MSY and need a new mousepad so it works well for me. Tossing up between the Logitech G240 cloth or a Goliathus Extended (on par price on staticice).

    Agreed, its just a bit small if you have big hands... :) My old G500 fitted better in my hand, if it didnt have those clicking problems.

  Replaced my trusty old G5 with this one last week. Got it from the ebay 20% sale for $38. It's not bad, seems a bit light, would prefer a bit more weight. In hindsight, should have gone with the G502 for the customisable weights.

  Is the Orion Spark / G502 pack worthwhile? I've been meaning to update keyboard for so long that now I think I should be updating mouse as well!

  Never mind, answered my own question. The combination is only just cheaper than MSY. Both the keyboard and mouse separately are cheaper at MSY. Looks like the real bargain here is the 402 and judging from comments it's a bit light. Don't think I want to risk switching to a lighter mouse in case I hate it. Cheers for feedback all
