fINALLY recieved my two unites today. No instructions on how to put together though..

Could only find other brands' instructions.
Anyway, put it together but can't get magnetic button to work (Nexus 4 can detect it if I wave it past.)
It doesn't seem to make much sense - the way it goes together ends up with one magnet 'stuck' in the round hole inside the device (nearest to the phone) while the 'switch' magnet moves up and down in the oblong shaped hole on the outside. How would that trigger the detector?Yeah, the other brands instructions were basically the same though.
And the magnet thingo just changes the magnetic fields or something, which the phone detects. Works fine on my S5.
@theguyrules: Yeah, but I don't think the change in magnetic field is strong enough, even though my phone can detect one of the magnets going past at a fair distance…
Okay so this thing is pretty cool… But to think some people paid over $10 for this? It really is just a cut-out cardboard structure with some simple magnets and glass eye pieces.
This is really cool paired with the Google Cardboard app, and Im sure theres a few other apps out there that make use of these glasses. I have yet to try the youtube videos, I will so how they actually work later one
