Wait for a DSE coupon code later this week. You may be able to combine the deals. Although T&Cs state they're not to be used with prepaid products I've used them successfully on Telstra $30 kits before.
Dick smith does the '24 hour sales' and the 'limited promo codes' on a usual basis, but NEVER on the same day. So it'll probably be reverted to the $30 when the promo code comes.

So what's real deal here, anyone can buy a $30 telstra pack for $15 and get 3gb + some credit for windows phone/android purchase. Telstra prepaid sim has been on sale every other day.
