Yay, 99c 'Big-Brand' Toothbrushes: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/oral-b-cross-action-anti-bacter… Finally getting closer to what we should be paying :) I mean what would they cost to make… all of about 2c including packaging? Can't believe Kogan can justify offering Free Delivery on a 99c Toothbrush. Time to stock up :p

Maybe this is the opportunity all those who've got gripes with Kogan to take advantage of them ie. buy large quantities of the cheapest & heaviest products they know they'll use from this promo :)

only 12 month warranty for the toothbrush.. definitely paying extra for an extended warranty!

    • Yeah you are paying a lot for marketing rather than anything else with toothbrushes.

I mean if you stop and think about it you aren't going to get an amazingly better performance out of 1 small brush compared to another small brush but marketing has informed us that we will achieve a lifestyle where we basically get other people's teeth by using a particular brush compared to another.

Apparently there is a measurable difference between manual and electric brushing as far as cleaning however none of the differing brushing modes or whatever they label the electric snake oil made any difference at all. Adding "computers" to it did nothing at all as you might expect :D

Yeppidy yep. It's been over 25 years since my last visit to the Dentist and that was only thanks to a chipped tooth from an incident at High School and I've only ever used a bog standard brush and CEDEL or Grants Toothpaste once a day. Originally I was very concerned after not going for a few years as I thought all my teeth would drop out but they didn't. Not saying they wont fall out tomorrow either and I will go for a check up one day but as per lots of other things in this world I feel we are fearmongered into far more then we should be. Supports a massive industry though I suppose and I'm still stupidly paying for top Health cover which I've never used, bugger it!

83 cents each delivered. That is nuts.
    Thanks OP !!
Anyone got an opinion on how these places feel about people like me? i.e. deciding you want to do 4 orders during today and they were all separate, all free shipping.
I wonder if they'd care. What if hypothetically you put in 20 orders, each being only for a few items. Nothing to lose as it is free shipping but gee, not great for them, their business model or their bottom line.

    • +1

I've done it before. They just ship it as one package. Already made 4 orders because I couldn't make up my mind! :)

  • Thanks OP did about 2 months of Pantry shopping.
