Up To 190MB/s Read, 130MBs Write P-FD128TBOP-GE

Previously popular deal from Amazon which is currently $34.99USD + $5.05USD delivery (lowest $29.99 according to camelcamelcamel). Still $6-7 cheaper if bought from Amazon. But this is a relatively good option from a local dealer.

Otherwise $59.95 delivered from this Sydney based eBay seller. (Wouldda been a great deal during the epic 20% off everything day on eBay. Someone should've posted!)

That's a good deal. I really want one. But I can't justify that when I already have so many.
Thanks OP, but I will resist.

  • I have the 256gb version my 18month year old dunked it in her drink of water last night well today i had to image some thin pc`s with clonezilla. sure enough it still worked they are fast maybe 190M/sec fast but faster than usb hdd

  • The Australian warranty might make this worth the risk for this item. Mine was rubbish.

  • Mine was rubbish. It came corrupted. Plugged into every computer (Macs and Windows) to format it again but couldn't. It costed too much to send it back to US (bought from amazon) which was more than the price of the USB.

      Amazon pay for return postage

  • I brought one from amazon some time ago and love it.. i used it everyday.. no issues here at all!

Where did you bring it to?

  • Can you record TV with this on lg smartTV ?

    • You could but overkill springs to mind

    • I have a 2014 LG smartTV and it WILL NOT record to it. The TV only works on HDD. I try other USB flash drive (different size and different brand) and nothing work for me.

Really? Not very smart for a smart tv :/

        • Maybe it had to be formatted as NTFS? Either way most SmartTVs suck at doing basic shit like this.

    • thank you for doing the gods work.

if i'm not mistaken, if I compare to the tomshardware link, this PNY does about average read but above-average writes.

if so not bad for $59

Just for people calling Shannigans on the speed. I get 160mbps Read + 80MB Read. Perfectly decent for USB 3.0 drive. I would never buy another non USB 3 drive.

    Benchmark I just took. -> http://imgur.com/DvUPdog
