Good info thanks,I have an old Garmin that's resistive…thank god for technology.
Resistive is more accurate (with stylus), but lacks multi-touch.
I cannot see how either of those matters on a GPS. ie who cares?
Some people think resistive is bad because they have only seen it on cheap & nasty phones.
My resisitive screened TomTom is not very responsive. I am not worried about multi-touch
Great price. Any reviews?
Ones i looked up weren't too good but you get what you pay for i guess.
IGo is the best GPS software.
IGo software is great, agreed.
But officeworks "limited stock" == none.
Unless poster can name one store with confirmed stock (guidelines say 10+) its a neg. I tried and failed.Go back and have a read of the voting guidelines. Since when was the lack of stock a reason to neg?
Well surely if the deal is not actually available then it comes under "The deal is not the cheapest available" reason simply by the fact you can't get it at the advertised price.
Well surely if the deal is not actually available
Then it should be unpublished as per guidelines.
Perhaps those guidelines should require some stock somewhere to be demonstrated then as so far nobody has mentioned any anywhere…
Edit. I see rogue wolf found 2.
Its not available anywhere :/
update?can be done by ourselves?
yeah i cant see any stock.
also the 3 years of maps expires tomorrow according to uniden websiteCalled 1300 633 423 said 2 available in Preston Vic, some other stores showing 1 but may be display or not available as clearance item, called preston to ask but dheads put me on hold for to long gave up, anyone nearby take a punt & drop in/or call put it on hold, call the number above to check availability in your state
WHY not just use any of the cheap nokia WP8 (530and other)handsets that come up here regularly for about the same or less and you get wifi and all other features that come with them
yes they have a 3.?" screen instead of a 5" screen but so what free updates includedTarren Point, Green Acre and i saw one more.. all with Limited stock..
on their website, if you do a search for availability - it says the Elizabeth St and Collins St shops is "limited - please call". none in the Sydney region :(
Total stock confirmed so far: (you need to call the store and get someone to eyeball the item) ZERO
Be aware it is a resistive touch screen (not capacitive)
But at $37 is cheaper than a map update.
