  anyone know whats the difference between the dyson DC54 multifloor, animal and animal pro ?

  they all look the same to me.

    The powerhead is different, read up on it(on their website)
    multifloor is the basic one from memory. important to note, this one doesnt come with a powerhead.

      when you say the powerhead, im assuming you are referring to the musclehead.

      sorry how do you mean its a basic one?? their website has exactly same specs for all 3 barrels just with extra connectors for animalpro

      i rather buy the attachments separate than pay that price for the animal pro

        I just did a bit of a read..haha (scrap what i said)

        So the Dyson dc54 Vacuum itself comes in 3 models, Multifloor, allergy, animal

        Multifloor is the basic. their standard powerful vacuum with the head etc etc..
        Allergy is their model up assuming allergy vacuum? shrugs
        Animal is their top range all round vacuum for all types of floors , the pro is extra acessories.

        Don't quote me exactly on this but its just from what i saw on the website.

        i wonder on what basis do they classify the animal to be a better range as they all have exactly the same specs i.e. same techno, same suction, same power, same cord length etc etc

        Shrugs, Says here the animal is most for pet hair because of the accessory and that each upgrade is really based on what you need.
        Maybe more beneficial to buy multifloor and pay for the different heads.

        Oh god.. tell me about it.. my sister owns the dc54s(with brush head) and i have the handheld one.. and they get tangled up like hell.. i have to take out the brush cylinder like one every 3 weeks..

        checked with dyson livechat. they said no difference other than the heads they come with. but you can buy them separately too for the multifloor.. what a joke.
