    The best thing to do with these electrical retailers (including HN) is to ask for (haggle?) the gift card value OR, at least, MOST of it come off your current product as immediate savings.
    Have had success in doing just this at Good Guys, Harvey Norman, JB HiFi and Bing Lee in recent years.
    I suggest that others try it. You'll be surprised how often you can score 70% to 95% of the foreshadowed gift-card value OFF immediately.

      Last Thursday I bought a mobile phone from their website, and from Friday they have a new promotion which make the phone much cheaper and also provide a bonus fitbit.. I tried to contact their support, they asked me to return the phone I purchased on Thursday and place a new order..

      I can confirm this which is ridiculous, as Price Match is a default policy showing the fact that they guarantee lowest price, and cashback offer is a one off promotion. Disappointing.

    The good guys offer seems better if you don't want to use the amex offer or the $25 signup offer.
    I want to buy a fridge for $750, but sadly can't combine 2 x amex deals and the signup ($25) offer as the signup offer is online only & I need to go inshore to use 2 amex cards (2 x $50). Bah!
    Wonder if they'll budge in store to get closer to the good guys offer? 10% of $750 is not as good as the $100 good guys are offering.

          I'm not sure if you can? And you have to spend $150 to use the voucher too.

        I purchased in store so they just gave me the 2 gift cards when I paid. They are valid for 24 months at any HN store so plenty of time to wait for the next good deal.
