This certainly represents better value for the same price. I'd drop into your local dicksmith and compare yours with the XL version. The XL is quite thin too.

Yes, where does the 4.3" come in. I already have the XL 340, but need to know what generation and model this is.
Tried calling Dick Smith online store, but no one was home.
I spoke directly with TomTom and they suggested going with the TomTom 340. You get IQ Routes and Advanced Lane Guidance.
man, both the xl, and the 340 are so much cheaper in the states. 110 and 120 respectively on amazon.com.
anyway, refunded the tomtom one, and got the xl for 198.
the good guys got these for $149. Went to get mine today. Very happy with the purchase ^^
is this any different to the 3.5" tomtom for $193 at dse? (beside the screen. the 3.5" is really thin, is this model thin too?)
Cos i just got the 3.5" one… donno if i should bother refunding and rebuying.
