I'm not going to be douche and -ive this deal… but just a suggestion to people to look out for better options before jumping on what appears to be a bargain.
How does the one you linked to look to be of better than "average quality" as opposed to the one in the deal?
They've probably both come off Chinese factory lines..
both are decent for their price, if ur unfortunate and was unable to get the one on 1saleaday then the ebay one is good for just 40 cents extra

I bought the playing cards from these guys and they arrived relatively quickly, and were packaged well.
It's sold out. I still am undecided if cheap HDMI cables are worth getting. Would love to hear from any people who have compared the PQ on a cheapie and a $50+ model.

While it does work well, it is a bit finicky, but serves the purpose of secondary HDMI cable for me
HDMI cables are one of those items that have been horribly misrepresented in stores. Theres no such thing as good or bad HDMI cables. The ones that cost $100 are just as good as ones that cost $5. They are a digital signal, so unlike the old RF cables (Where quality does count) with digital you get exactly what is sent out of your media box.
One cable should be as good as the next. They're carrying a digital signal you either get 100% perfect transmission or none at all there is no in between.
Don't be fooled by the marketing hype that a gold plated, diamond encrusted cable dipped in snake oil will make your music sound like you're sitting in the recording studio.
$5 is how much an HDMI cable should cost it's a joke that they get away charging $50 in stores for some "brand name". I bet they're all made in the same factory.

Just to be the devil's advocate here: Even digital signals can sustain errors and be played back. I am certainly not suggesting that a $100 cable is worthwhile though!
The bigger issue is HDMI standards — 1.3b or whatever? Do these cables conform?
Another worthwhile point of consideration is life-expectancy. Again — not saying Monster cables are justified to even have a market — but, having seen the quality of plenty of goods from Chinese factorylines, I'm not so sure they'd last the test of time.
I'm sure they are a perfectly fine cable, just offering another factor that should be taken into consideration beyond how do they compare picture-quality wise.
WaywardOne, the difference between the standards is throughput (5gbps for 1.0 v. 10gbps for 1.3). Most people only require 1.0.
