Ozito 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless Hammer Drill + 2 Batteries + Charger + Bag $49 @ Bunnings

1440

Saw this advertised in today's Melbourne Herald Sun and is available nationwide.

Comes with a 3 year replacement warranty.

Limited stock. Whilst they advertise limited stock, there should be a decent amount of stock at most stores just as there was for the Gerni deal the other week.

  • Shit happy too soon, got the 14.4 version, need to keep hunting

  • Anyone still after one on Brisbane north side, Brendale have them tucked away on the shelf in the tool shop with $129 still on them.

  • Out of stock everywhere.

  • Picked up the last red one at seven hills nsw.

  • ~20 red and 10 green available at Bunnings Harrisdale WA. The green ones are on the shelf and on a pallet next to the drill display. The red ones are still in delivery cartons underneath the green drills on the pallet.

  • Melville has a dozen or so green and supposedly no reds. I grabbed a green but hoping to find a red somewhere and will swap. Be careful as there are also older nicad ones for $49.

  • Just picked a red one up from Bunbury Bunnings in WA. They had about 10 red ones left on the table. The Treendale Bunnings had no red ones, only green left :)

  • +1

saw about 4 at morayfield this arvo tucked back in cordless section

Thanks OP, needed this, so great timing

I got a green one, and after getting the sales guy to see if there was a red at other stores, he had no luck and took $10 off the green one. So i got it for $39.

  • Went to Melville, WA on Sat afternoon and was told that the promo only applies to the Green one. The red ones (single speed) came up at $89 at the till. Bought a green one and one of the battery would not charge at all (after 2 hours). Returned it but was told that tools with problems has to be checked by the tool shop before refund can be issued. Took a while and the tool shop guy didn't show up, and the customer service just gave me back refund anyway.

The Bunnings web site's code is actually for the green one, but the picture is showing red. The guy at the till says that they only honour product code, not the picture… Go figure.

    • Rather poor service. I had a dead battery replaced a few weeks ago. It was not tested nor did I have a receipt. I just showed a credit card statement which showed a Bunnings transaction. But it was a genuine purchase and the transaction related to the actually item purchased.

      • I'm having problems with one of the batteries as well from the green model.
Will be taking the battery into Bunnings tomorrow and see if they give me a replacement.

        • If you have the receipt it should not be a problem.

        • @unity1:
Guess you don't watch The Checkout?

        • @Steptoe: No I don't. Only the Checkout chick.

    • The $89 red version was a different kit, comes with 70 drill bits. It may or may not be the same drill as some "red" versions are older nicad batteries and newer ones were also not hammer drills. I dug around at Melville and Cockburn to no avail.

  • These are mostly sold out.

I saw this pack on the site for 88, it comes with 2 18v drills.

    http://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-18v-li-ion-cordless-impact-…

Are they any good? they look smaller and lighter, but then again it is 38 more..

    • For $88 bucks actually it's not too bad of a deal, considering you also get an additional Impact Driver. But the drill itself only has 1 speed, compared to the green one which had 2 speeds.

      • Compared to $49 deal this is no deal cos you don't need another driver for extra $39 and no bag.

  • Snagged one at Villawood NSW and saw a few left (probably 3-4 left).

  • Can anyone tell me is there any available around southeast suburb of Melbourne?

    • 5 days later… your chances are slim!

      • Too bad…

        • when i went to Bunnings Hawthorn on Monday, there was one green one left.

        • @le3lee:

Great thanks, I will call them!

        • @le3lee: but did you take it home with you?

        • @shmahoo: nope!

  • Just bought green one at Bunnings Kirrawee 8:45pm, one left on shelf. Red one scans at 89.

  • I picked up 2 from bunnings west footscray. They didnt have stock when I called them last week but were happy to do a special order for me from the special orders desk.

  • Has anyone managed to track down the specification of the green and red models? I can't find any information about this model on Ozito's web site.
