looks like a great price
poke I already linked to benchmarks of that GPU. poke
The spec looks sweet. It weight 2.65kg, which is not bad.
*Edit: Found it.
dv6 models are very nice looking.
Windows 7 upgrade is available for this?
Yes, it is.
However they're sold out :(
EDIT Above comment may only apply to WA.
Ive got a DV6 .. brilliant lappy. Wish i'd waited for this special…!!!
Retailers seem to be fairly flexible with offers ATM so make the offer to your local dealer and see what happens.Yeah, same…i spent 1450 for it about 6 months back…well…you can thank our powerful aussie dollar for this. Came with 3 year warranty though and a $50 wheeled carrycase.
Don't beat yourself up about it…think whether or not you've gotten the value of using it since you bought it and whether it = the difference between the price you paid and the price you can get it now…
it does for me…so i'm happy either way.
HP came out with many variations of the 1130:
http://search.hp.com/gwaueng/query.html?cc=au&lang=en&search…dv6-1130eg has the right processor, wrong HDD size and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c0170978…dv6-1130TX has the right processor, right HDD, and a POOR NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS but screen size is wrong:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c0173010…Best to ask Officeworks what model your getting.
Not avaliable in VIC.Have had a look at this offer and Officeworks site says that there is 0 stock and not available for backorder. Checked NSW and QLD postcode.
Good price for the specs. My first lappy was a HP I bought 3 years ago. From day one, it had three dead pixels in the middle of the screen. Couldn't get HP to replace it. Not impress with their service. Also a year ago, the speakers started to play up.
Can't even register for an account on the Officeworks website! DOH!
This is a great laptop. i have it at home and while it doesn't play games maxed out….it does just fine on medium settings. and it's surprisingly light considering it's largish screen.
When you say doesn't play games maxed out, which games are you referring to? Like Crysis? What kind of fps do you get with L4D with all settings maxed?
All pav's are really great! Design and everything
With the specs, even better, love it. best laptop imoat this price its quite unbelievably good!!
All gone? Bummer. My brother is just in the market for a new laptop, budget:- $1000.
I might check around to see if i can find it.
$1600 at DSE. Maxed out RAM and HDD. Decent graphics (see notebookcheck). Draft N. HMDI. eSATA. Good quality screen.
It's a good buy.
