KFC 9 Pieces for $9.95 - ALL WEEK - Xpress App Required DATE EXTENDED

1860

Possible Date extension as per post below

In addition to the Tuesday $9.95 9 Piece deal, KFC are offering it all week. However, it can only be ordered thru the Xpress App. Please note that the majority of stores are still being rolled out. I assume Qld/NT/WA are not included, due to them being owned by the Collins Group. Still no mention of Windows phone yet.
A number of stores are being upgraded this week.
This is the updated list

I have displayed a deal from the xpress app at a store in George St, Sydney, & they honoured the deal. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

You asked for us to bring back this special offer and we said heck yes and then some.

For one week only, from Monday 1 June till Sunday 7 June, you can order 9 pieces of Original Recipe Chicken for just $9.95 every day. Not just on Tuesdays. Every day. For one week only. That’s a $10 saving, players. But only when you order through the Xpress app.

Simply find the offer in the Tasty Rewards menu of the app. And why not top off the meal with two sides for only $5? This week’s family dinner just got awesome.

Order now on Iphone

  • This offer is only redeemable in the KFC Xpress mobile ordering app. Only in participating stores. Set combination of chicken pieces apply.

can anyone recommend a good cardiologist?

    • +41

I can, but he only works on Tuesdays.

      • Is that because of KFC, Pizza Hut & Dominoes cheap Tuesdays?

        • +15

by god I think he's got it :).

    • +2

      7 days x 9 pieces =63 pieces.

      Did somebody say Supersize me?

Not all people can. I thought I'd make it easy for them. ;-)

          Some can punctuate…

        • +16

          7 days x 9 pieces = 63 days pieces. Lol.

        • +1

Sorry I am using a loan phone I am not used to. I normally use a Smartphone that is a name brand. ie Samsung. Instead they gave me some no name phone, that had a semi bitten apple on it.

i know every time i eat this i feel like shit.

      • +1

Maybe you could eat that instead? :-)

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I read in another thread that people reheat the pieces in a Halogen style oven.

I found some outlets are better than others, and it also depends who is doing the preparation.

  • Nothing in CBD Sydney

  • I love how most of the Western Sydney stores are set up.
    LOL

Yeah, fast food caters to the dregs of society.

      • its after 7… wheres Kevin

      • Location: Perth

  • I went to a store on the corner of George St Sydney, & I showed them the double combo on the App. They still honoured it for $10.95. Maybe the more people that download the App, the quicker they will roll it out in other stores, given that MacDonalds have their new Burger App.

  • no participating store around inner city

    • If you have the App, give it a try, by taking it into a store. I guess it depends who is on duty, but I guess the more people that do try it at stores, the quicker they may roll it out.

      • The reviews on Google play are terrible, should i install? how do you find it?

        • Just search on Google Play, or click the link above. Most issues I think due to not being near a participating store.

  • I now declare a Junk food app war is on, DH were making the most if it, now KFC has stepped up!
DH might be keen to counteract this with ye ol $14 off again?

  • Nene Chicken is opening tomorrow (Tuesday 2 June) at Melbourne Central. They are giving away free meals all day. They are the equivalent of Korean KFC if you want to try. Something different.

    http://www.nenechicken.com.au

    • korean kfc ??, i thought over was still being called KFG =Gaegogi (no chicken)
,, there is no substitute for chicken

    • Where does it say free meal all day? On their site?

  • Just wondering - is it just my local KFC that makes you line up again at the counter to confirm your Xpress app order even though you've prepaid? Such a nuisance.

    • It seems to vary from store to store. My nearest one has it ready for me, as I have used it that often.

    • Hi Veetor, which store? I will make contact them to make sure they are trained correctly. Thanks for using KFC Xpress!

      • +1

Hi kfcexpress, it's the Brimbank store. Don't be too hard on them - they've improved a bot. The last time I went, the store wasn't busy, so a staff member wandered over to find out why I'd gone straight to the pickup counter. I get the impression I'm the only person who uses the app at this store.

        • Hi, thanks. Will make sure they have all the correct training materials. Glad to hear they are improving!

  • not many stores in Melbourne Metro….hmmm they need to do some work!

  • Anyone in Perth snaffled this deal up yet?

    • Haven't got the xpress app to work in Perth yet. Anyone else can confirm?

    • +1

Keep an eye out next week. Our company owned stores are going live on Tuesday assuming no gremlins.

  • Ppl calling fast food = junk food. Stop watching so much today tonight

    • The app says that there are none in Perth that do the Xpress thingy - so doubt anyone will be able to…

  • +6

heres a great little game you could play if you have a lot of kfc (buy some more if you need to), first tuck your shirt in, then stuff as many pieces of chicken as you can into your shirt haha classic. try to beat my highscore of 29 pieces :-)

    • +1

      Dafuq?

      • +4

you haven't really lived until you've had fried chicken rubbing on your nipples.

        • S & M with a greasy drumstick hanging off the edge of a whip.

    • +2

      Dont forget the gravy

      • Don't forget to spread mashed potato and golden gaytime krushers over your skin before trying.

      • We did this once, but its too hard to gather the gravy again for dinner afterwards, which is effortless with chicken pieces :-D

    • Doesn't count for anything unless you got it annotated in the Guiness Books of Records. So, did you?

      • Haha can't say that it is. However, I have been the champ of each of my family reunions (just me and uncle joe really). Truth be told, I try picking the smaller pieces and wear a shirt one size larger than usual. Oh if you're reading this uncle joe, I know you wear larger pants to let the pieces fall down, saw a piece of drumstick stick out yesterday you nincompoop you. dont forget we have to eat those! haha

  • +3

People bag KFC in here quite a bit, but for what it's worth, each drumstick / piece of original chicken in the 9 for $9.95 deal is only 7 carbs, 3 grams of saturated fat, less than 1 gram of sugar and 17g of protein. That's actually really good, especially since nutritionally speaking, you want to avoid carbs and sugar as much as possible & get the protein & good fats when ever you can.

    • -1

lol what? per 100g(which is nothing) 280 cal- P 21.8g, fat 17.3, carb 9.4. I'm skeptical that its that low with the bad qual oil.. its a really terrible protien to fat ratio..

      • Protein and fat are the two sources of energy you want in a healthy diet, for your body to be burning though.

    • Calorieking puts the drumstick at 76g on average. That one piece contains 890 kilojoules. From that one piece. It also contains 20% recommended daily intake of fat & salt.

Those broiler chicken farms must be busy and working overtime.
Without offending any KFC fans (aficionados?) out there and in case you have second thoughts about engaging in 9 pieces of chicken daily for 7 days in a row……maybe this article on how your KFC chicken gets to be available so quickly behind the counter as well as so efficiently replenished:-

    • Hey momov3,

Just wondering what the deal was with your post, being that you previously upvoted deals involving KFC vouchers (like this one for example a month or two ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/188810) - and even posted complaining about how the burgers weren't cheap enough any more? Also, why would you have an issue with the treatment of chickens in KFC food when you admittedly "gorge" on the fast food ice cream - a product containing eggs from the same caged chickens?

      • There is no deal or personal issue with what's in the link. It is an informative piece for anyone interested to know how the chickling got to where it did. You can never stop learning, and ignorance is not bliss. I wouldn't have known myself had my friend not worked on those farms and came back with the full story. It's a factual story worth sharing - gross but true. That doesn't mean I am affected in any way by it and I still CHOOSE to continue eating KFC and drink their crushers. It's like knowing how the cows and sheep get slaughtered for our roasts but we continue to eat them unless we are vegans. I also eat kangaroo. :) :) :)

        • +1

So you are aware of the 'gross' practises that occur and yet you are not "affected in any way by it". You're not ignorant but still living in bliss, is that not a non sequitur?

  • How much fat is reduced when you remove the skin off the chicken?
I always do that when i eat KFC. XD

    • Fatass

      • I throw it away. I don't eat the skin.

    • +2

      Can I have your skin?

      • It goes in the bin where it belongs.

  • THIS!!! The MOST EVIL deal of the month!!!!

  • When I ate 9 pieces of chicken last Tuesday I didn't go the toilet for 2 days.

    • You ate howmany pieces? 9 holy moly! You know how all that cooking grease messes with the kitchen sink pipes and clog them up. The same happened with your plumbing! I recommend Benefibre, a large tablespoon dose into your coffee will unplug it all. Then you can eat again!

      • I once ate 9 pieces at a trade night, but another fellow employee ate 10!
I don't recall feeling too great afterwards.

        • +1

In my old uni days, we used to have all you can eat KFC at Dandenong (closed long time now) and my record was 14 pieces with potato gravy and side dishes. I was skinner and healthy. Now married with kids I am heavier and can even eat much…..

        • @ahlala: Not sure why but 9 pieces isn't a lot to me, I could eat at least 30+, I'm on the healthy range of BMI as well. Can't say about my intestinal bmi though..

        • +2

          @aerona:

          No, just no.

        • @aerona:
30 plus? I thought Andre the Giant was deceased? ;-)

        • +1

          @hbg:
I will bet you guys I can eat 30 pieces, I've eaten a 2kg steak before. Putting money if youre looking for a bet =D

        • @aerona: il put some coin on that. That you can't eat 31 pieces.

    • Huge bladder! Seriously though, this stuff does the opposite for me. It's like a cheap high colonic.

      • You mean to say huge intestine. The kind of colonic that causes you to have to gallop at top speed to the toilet? Seriously, noooooo!

        • The intestine is huge, in the sense of long., Everybody's is. Plenty of room for a backlog (no pun intended). I'm amazed, though, that he apparently didn't pee for two days.

        • @strangeloops66:

          No, I meant I couldn't do number 2 for 2 days.

  • Ops I did it again :(Never again - exactly what I said last time!

I only managed two pieces. No skin :(

  • Bought myself a 9 piece pack (Tuesday deal). Somehow managed to eat a record FIVE pieces in one session (well a 2 hour long session).

For some reason KFC did not taste as good as I remmembered.

  • +4

to all the people complaining about the food, just don't eat it if you don't like it. I personally love KFC and my record is 9 pieces of chicken, a large potato and gravy and a large coleslaw for lunch. I have a body fat of 5-8%

But I run. My longest run is over 200km, so I don't feel the least bit guilty.
