I'd say Bunnings are clearing stock as its no longer in their website…which could mean their may be similar prices at other outlets.

Yeah, I thought at first they wouldn't but they ended up doing. Very happy - got the 300kg for $20. Just wanted the longer base version, not necessarily 150kg more capacity.

successfully price matched at mt gravatt without hassles. i grabbed 2x300 kg ones. they are marked at $49. i'll have to try price matching other bunnings stores more often. thanks for the tip!
is that the one on Wecker Rd? i didn't see the 300kg versions there…
there were a few there on the middle shelf along with a pile of 150s (on the floor iirc). some of the boxes were upside down so you can't see the blue label

you'll have better chance if the product scans as "deleted" in their system and are low in stock. The manager in my local store was playing hardball and said it was up the each store managers discretion on how much to clear stocks out that have been "deleted" on the system. Since the 150kg one was still marked "live" on their system and they have enough stock he wasn't obliged to price match that. In the case of the 300kg one it was showing -5 stock on their system and the product had been deleted, so he was willing to price match that for $20.
