Actually if you like bad luck then thats a great combination like 777 or something

You may actually get struck by lightning if you buy this laptop lol

    • Well it's a proper laptop at an upper end netbook price.
$450 has got to be one of the cheapest real laptop prices ever..

      • hmm proper laptop is questionable imo but yeah good price

What's special? Free delivery at $449 after cashback..

Firstly, this Celeron is based on the Core 2 Duo architecture. You obviously know very little about the current range of processors to rubbish this Celeron. It's a solid processor and can't be beat for the money. It is faster than many older Core 2 Duo CPUs. Read http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php if you don't believe me.

Acer have a decent 1 year in-home warranty. All laptops can fail, some more than others. Acer fared better than Gateway and HP, very close to Lenovo in reliability studies. See: http://www.squaretrade.com/htm/pdf/SquareTrade_laptop_reliab…

Vista? Nothing wrong with it on a decent machine like this. Or just use the free Windows 7 upgrade here: http://www.emachines.com/windows7upgrade/

I have no affiliation to Acer/eMachines/Microsoft/Citysoftware but your negative just doesn't make sense.
