  • A bit too expensive for me - postage is an additional 8 bucks.

Also the jar looks a bit tacky.

  • Postage is too expensive. I saw these in a gift shop for $11.00, must remember to pop back and buy one.

    • Hi,

    Thanks!

  • domlink2000 the shop is in Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, not sure what state you are in. Its funny as one shop had it for 19.99 and then I was looking another shop and it was 11.00, and thought I must pop back to get one, but I needed 3 so now they have reduced shipping I can get them cheaper delivered.
    Woohooo

  • cheers murts

  • Awesome ordered mine

  • for what it's worth I got 3 of these last year for my kids and they are pretty crap. They work out what the money is based purely on the size of the coin, you basically push the coin through the slot which is a plastic piece on a tensioned spring. The spring is quite tight so much so my kids didn't have the strength to put money in, it is also means it takes a relatively long time to feed a handful of coins in. And perhaps the worst thing is 9 times out of 10 it counts $2 coins as 5 cents similar issues occur wtih 10c and $1 coins..

oh and when it does count the coins wrong there is nothing you can do about it other than reset the thing back to 0, empty the jar and try putting them all in again. So if you are looking for a cheap plastic money box then you won't be disappointed but if you really want an accurate count of coins then perhaps look for something else.

  • aww crap i thought it was better :)

thanks for the info so i wont expect to much

  • i received mine on friday, good packaging and actually a fun thing to use.

The tension spring is definitely tight accuracy is good although have had the 5cent appear as a $2 i open the jar and chuck in an extra $2
