Great player, but not that great a price really for only 30Gb.
I paid this sort of price 2 years ago!

For a price comparison, Apple is selling Refurb 80Gb iPod Classics for $219 delivered.

I'd pay the extra $2.30 per gigabyte to avoid having to install iTunes on my Machine anyday!!!

      • And amen to that! lol

wikipedia: Multimedia content is transferred through Media Transfer Protocol (MTP); however, its proprietary MTP extensions ("MTPZ") place an interoperability barrier between the Zune and previous MTP-based software.
i.e. you are swapping one proprietry interface for another. Both are bad.

Just about any other MP3 player will work with your choice of software.

  • Refurbish of a MP3 player released in 2006 with a non-flash hard drive! I rather pay for the latest ipod.

  • another failed attempt of Microsoft ..

      Amen to that

I have a brown Zune and it rocks. Got about 5 friends who have imported them because it's such a great little player. Sold my iPod in a second and been enjoying the Zune since. Not saying the iPod is crap, but this is a great deal for a great PMP.

        Edited: Removed personal attack

  • I wonder who will honour the warranty since the Zune wasn't officially released in Australia!

  • Screw this, deals direct get me a zuneHD into Aus
