You can by MS Office 2013 from Microsft HUP for $15 (if you are eligible) which is a one off cost, and not a 1-year sub like the prices about.

Says you need a work email and not everyone is eligible:

Exactly, most people can't buy it.

    • Or if you have a higher tier of Office 365 subscription associated to your business email at your workplace, you can just install one of your five copies.

Or if you are a student (email address), you can (generally) receive a free copy.

  • It shows where MS Office is at in the marketplace when it's been on Ozbargain for half an hour and not one + vote.

It was overpriced for years, and now they reap what they sowed.

    • Hardly - I think it's more that this has been on special before.

1 TB of storage for a year (Normal price)
      Dropbox - $109
      Apple iCloud - $300
      Google Drive - $120
      Box - $120 for 100GB

For $24, this deal is worth it for the storage alone

        Misread the title, my apologies.

    How generous.

  • Can you wait a couple of years before activating this licence?
I still have plenty of months left on my 360 subscription.

Will it then last one year after activation?

Q: What happens if I buy or renew multiple Office 365 subscriptions using the same Microsoft account?

A: Your Microsoft account can have only one subscription associated with it. If you use the same Microsoft account to buy or renew multiple Office 365 subscriptions before each one has expired, you will add the cumulative time to your subscription, up to a maximum of 5 years. Note that doing so does not increase the number of devices that you can install Office on or increase the amount of online storage that is available with the subscription.

      • So this is good then isn't it? Hmm Might buy 5years worth :)

        • Presumably. At least, that's what I took from the answer. I haven't done it myself, I have the 2013 Office HUP, but I have heard of it being done before.

  • I still haven't received my Cashback after buying on a deal last year. Microsoft at fault I assume. I've emailed but no reply. I have to weigh up if waiting on the phone for am hour is worth the 20 bucks

  • Will you get the cashback if you're using this to extend an already activated subscription?

  • This is almost worth it just for the 1tb of cloud storage! 5tb for the more expensive one. :)

YOu also might want to add that it is 1 PC, 1 Tablet, AND 1 Phone. 5 PCs, 5 Tablets, AND 5 Phones so you can have it on 15 devices, not just 5.

  • Nice deal. I'd pick one up myself if I hadn't already received two complimentary Office 365 subscriptions with my recent phone and tablet purchases.

  • Not $79 anymore…

    As a reminder:

    1. Office 365 gives you UNLIMITED (It's actually 10TB but if you need more you just send them an email) Onedrive Storage.
You don't get that with the Home Use Program.
      http://blogs.office.com/2014/10/27/onedrive-now-unlimited-st…

Issues with the 20k file limits are on Onedrive for BUSINESS accounts. Onedrive for Biz and Onedrive personal are actually separate services and architectures with similar names. (http://www.techrepublic.com/article/the-limits-of-unlimited-…)

    1. As stated earlier the codes are stackable up to 5 years

The value for me is that I am getting unlimited cloud storage for up to 5 people for less than $60 a year. Who cares about the Office 365 software? I didn't even load (I have HUP loaded from work :)

I got a license key late last year and I'm going to get one now and add this code to my existing plan.
