Touring Vietnam a few months ago the most surprising thing was the complete lack of rice paper rolls - throughout the entire country I saw a single street vendor selling them. Delicious though!
Strange, I found goi cuon in most places.

I never have rice paper rolls at home.
You can easily find them in almost every local market in the South. Not so popular in the Middle and North of Vietnam.
