      I got HN to beat the Good Guys price on the V6 animal.
      Ended up paying $520 plus I get the $50 off Amex and the bonus toolkit.

        Yea, if you go in-store you can usually get a better price.
        I got $480 for the v6 model.

      I am getting the V6 animal for my 2 and 6 year olds. based on the mess they make, I think they qualify.

        To my understanding the difference is just the head attachment.

        the V6 i think is also a renaming of dc59

        Yes as bikuta said, its different head attachment, 75% more effective than the V6 head and it comes with a mini head for sofa and car cleaning.

  Just incase anyone else buys one. Although the bonus toolkit promo states it has finished, I bought a Dyson on the weekend and I filled out the form anyway and I got it!
