No use at the moment until we have unlimited download for 4G.

    • can you please share how?

If we have unlimited 4G I will kick away my slow ADSL2+ and use this as my home router.

My area got no cable and 4km away from phone exchange so slow ADSL2+.

        • whoops didnt read the word 'until' soz

  • Still a good deal if you travel internationally and wants to use the local gateway for still being in touch.

Can anyone confirm if it's available at any other location ?

    still $100 too much

  • Why not a 4G phone as a hotspot ?

    • i agree with you largely but how do you hook 4 pcs via network cable into a phone?

it has a purpose, just not for that many people

      • The 4G plan nowadays is only like 4-5GB so why bother to use it as a home router?

        • There are many uses for it :) Believe it, great for small business.

  • WOW I paid $219, I use this for my VOIP setup. Works great.

    • I tried to setup MyNetfone VoIP but didn't work. Any trick you setup your VoIP? But internet work perfectly with Telstra prepaid SIM without any APN setup.

      • I use telecube. All i did was pop the sim in, and the phones are already configured. I don't use the built in VOIP feature as it doesn't work. I tried, i called them, escalated to level 3, they even gave me a special firmware (I can email it to you). Still cannot use the built in VOIP for my analogue phone….

  • Golly, been wanting one for ages. Anyone seen one closer to eastern Melbourne?

  • Do these have the modem built in? Or need a separate modem? Think I saw these cleared out in another officeworks recently for $88 ?

    • Yep they were $88 when I posted an OW deal a week or two ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/193062

No built in modem but has WAN port that you can use direct from existing setup. That way you can just use it as a cheap VOIP box as it accepts up to five accounts/lines.

  • I am wondering that antenna is for 4G, so is WiFi build in?

    • Do not use Wifi :), I had stability issues right away.

edit: anyone can ask me questions about this router. I use it for my family owned small business purposes.

  • We enjoy a wicked 192hours free Vodanet, and it just all around easier to tether hotspot. And besides, Android has good monitoring/limiting capabilities.
