This is different to the 3-pack of the eero mesh - note this is the router for Wi-Fi 6, the cheaper 3-pack on Amazon is only Wi-Fi 5.

Might be relevant for those who have taken the provided suggested router from OzBargain's favourite frog branded ISP (myself included).

Suggested data provided is:

"Covers up to 460 square metres. Best for larger homes. Experience speeds up to 900 Mbps" YMMV check reviews as they have been mixed.

I bought this the other day. Haven't tried it yet, so i can't comment on the performance yet. But, in case anyone's wondering, I can confirm that my Shopback tracked at the "Amazon devices" cashback rate which is usually the highest Amazon rate. The cashback rate is lower than the 20% recently, but Topcashback still have 10%, which is still decent. Stack that with that 10% gift cards, and it makes for a good price.

  • I bought this router the other day when there was SB 20% Cashback on Amazon devices then stupidly cancelled it based on a google search that said it wasn’t nbn compatible only to find out it works with the nbn box so reordered :’( only 6% now!
I currently have a Telstra nbn router but I’m sending it back and going to switch to a cheaper provider.
Anyone who owns one of these can you tell me if they are decent? Wifi 6 where as there was a more expensive one that has wifi 6+ but I couldn’t see any great benefit as I only have a small single floor unit but it would be nice to think I could share with the neighbour in future with a mesh extender (brick walls between)
Thanks for any perspectives/opinions and if you think it sucks and there’s a better option in a similar price range please tell me as it’s an Amazon purchase so I can easily return it, cheers :)

    • I have 3 Eero Pro6's for about 18 months and they've been pretty flawless, but pro6 have a seperate channel for wireless backhaul and I'm about to cable them all anyway.

    • I have a 200m2 single storey brick veneer house. One Eero 6 set up on the nbn box at the far end of the house. I get excellent coverage throughout except for one spot right at the opposite end where it slows down a little. outdoor wifi cameras have been networking well. When I get around to it I will be adding one more to the mesh, but that's really only for piece of mind…

      • Thanks, that gives me confidence it’ll work well for me and likely work well sharing with the neighbour (that will just be a bonus tbh) the old modem/router I had on adsl was horrible as soon as you went out the front door you lost connection but that was ancient.

  • Really good price. I've already got a superloop provided eero router. So I'm not sure how I'd go about connecting the second eero router to it. I'm almost thinking I'd be better off keeping the new router, pairing the 2 mesh devices and then selling the Superloop branded Eero router.

eero is backward compatible. so if you have eero 6+ from superloop, it should work with this one.

got mine today, when you connect the first eero, it gives you the option to pair a second or third eero. Plenty of videos on youtube that explain it
