I was in the Sanity Sydney city store after work today. There was still 2 x ROCK BAND PS2/3 instrument bundles (no game) for $120 which will come down to $60. ROCK STAR game on its own for PS3 was also there and discount price was $28.11
There was also a PS2 GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR instrument bundle for $99 (with game). I got the last PS3 version of this which they kindly put aside after I called them early this morning. So, call them if you want one of these itmes, so they can hold it for you.
Still quite a few games for about a $30 sale price still there, but all the $13 ones had gone.
A workmate called into CASTLE HILL store today and he was told all unsold tock from stores was sent to the city store to be sold off cheap. Looks like they are getting out of game/consoles sales.
Retail stores are getting rid of games, except they are suppose to continue offering them online..

UPDATE just went to the virgin mega store Sydney City and they have over 25% off all game however there savings don't come close to what the website had and most of the games even with the discounts are still more expensive than shopping elsewhere (example Motorstorm pacific rim was 109 now 57, can get elsewhere for under 50)
In maryborough, they had 50% off the already marked down prices. it was great as its a small-ish town and not many people had been there before me :D
Sorry, I forgot that SANITY is re-badged as Virgin Mega store in Sydney city. That is the store you mention above! Although the signs say 25% clearance, all those reduced prices then scan at 50% off again. Unless you know, there is no signage indicating this discount. I bought three items from there yesterday including GHWT PS3 instrument bundle for $99.
Your MOTORSTORM would have been $57 less 50% = $28.50
I assume all stores mentioned on www.sanity.com.au are offering the discount.
Called Sanity online support earlier today, gotta say thumbs up, guy was very helpful and answered immediately. Will keep an eye out for them in the future (inline with Game and Fishpond).
He discussed the stock situation and said they placed an order with the supplier today, and they are hoping to fulfil stock at the prices we ordered them at. He said we will receive a dispatch e-mail or notification it has been cancelled if they cannot fulfil the order. He appeared optimistic so I will remain so for now.
For those wondering all items are shipped via AusPost (regular or Express) so if you're not there, it gets left there. I called to get my addressed changed to work instead for this reason.
I thought they left a slip if you aren't home. I live in a unit and the contractor doesn't even attempt delivery, for once it will be a boon since it will go straight to the post office and a slip with be left.
Just went to the Virgin megastore in the Sydney City (on George St). They have 50% off reduced price games. Gears of war $8, tiger woods 2009 $22, lego batman $18, gundam dynasty warriors 2 $20, RE 5 $35. All these are xbox 360 games. I had a quick look at ps2 - fallout 3 for $40, rock band instruments $60 (2 sets left). Heaps of wii games - castlevania, animal crossing, mad world - all around $20 to $40.
Worth checking all virgin and sanity stores. HMV i don't think have games.
Went to Sanity store at Forest Hill in Vic and they don't sell games. Wasted my time. =(

I contacted them and they said they were waiting for one of my games to come in (which will be late next week) before they ship them out to be.
So it seems they are going to fulfil the orders.
FYI I ordered Little Big Planet, Guitar hero Super bundle and Ratchet Tools of Destruction(waiting for this game to be in stock) all on ps3.
Not shipped out for me yet and no notification by email of anything apart from pending order… hmmm I can't be bothered ringing up but if this were not such a good deal I would be annoyed…
Still curious to see whether I get the games I wanted though… hopefully I will… and before xmas!

Express post usually gets left at the door as it doesn't include delivery confirmation.

It cost $6.95 to have a partial order of Guitar Hero World Tour (x2), Singstar Queen & Singstar Pop shipped express. At least I'll have something this week. I wonder if PS2 singstar mikes work on a PS3?

My guitar hero world tour shipped yesterday so hopefully will get it today, did pay for express. Still waiting on stock for bourne, guitar hero metallica and the godfather 2. Have bad company 2, brothers in arms and james bond waiting to be shipped. Might make them split the order. They said they cannot source burnout paradise and has been taken off my order.
They are trying to source the other games and said they will know by early next week. My understanding is that they are recieving all stock from every store to meet the orders from online.

My order partially shipped today after calling to check on the status. I'd recommend people call to see whether they have partially filled your order and if so - get it shipped. No extra cost apparently. I got battlefield 2, soul calibur IV, tomb raider underworld, quantam solace shipped and star wars force unleashed. Waiting to be shipped: burnout paradise, banjo kazooie and bourne conspiracy. My burnout has not been taken out - the person said there is still a chance to be shipped.
I sent them an email to get an update on my order on the 3/12.
I originally opted for it to be bulk fulfilled so they are waiting on the other titles.
It was going to cost me extra shipping to split the order and take the available items now. So I elected to wait.

As others have posted they say they are waiting on stock from all Sanity, Virgin and HMV stores.
If they are unable to source any outstanding titles they will cancel the items from the order and ship the available titles.
They didn't give any time period for this to take place.

I got an e-mail back from Sanity saying that they're waiting on a shipment by the end of this week, and after that if there's still no stock they'll ship what they've got and cancel the ones for which they don't have stock.
I have 2 out of 3 items that I ordered.
Bought Smackdown vs Raw 2009, Quantum of Solace and Burnout paradise…and all still not shipped. Was told only got WWE and 007 and that not sure about Burnout. Wouldn't have bought from them if I knew it'll take more than 2 weeks to get the games even for the dirt cheap prices (and I still haven't got them).

I checked my pending order status and found someone has added $300 worth of DVDs to my order.
I phoned. Their final shipment of games arrive on Thursday. He can't say if I'll get my pending items.
They are waiting to see what comes in on Thursday before notifying customers of cancellations.
You guys are all waiting for the stock to be sent to the main store / head office because the games are spread out across all stores.. and the Admin bags / transfers are packed for monday… They will all be sent to one main location starting monday and it should get there in 2-3 days time i would assume

Over on ecogamer.com, people who paid for Express are saying that even if they chose combined shipping, they've been getting their orders shipped minus the games that aren't in stock - i.e. the games not shipped aren't in stock, and won't be fulfilled.
So far, that's Burnout Paradise and MySims.

Crap….I managed to call Sanity and there will be a couple of items cancelled from my orders due to out of stock. That includes Guitar Hero Bundle. The crappy thing is that I saw a set available in Virgin store and could have just gotten it right there (but I didn't since I already ordered one).
For the rest waiting for their stuff, don't get your hopes too high.

Anyway sorry to tell you this maf101 but they are no longer ordering any GH3 bundle or it has been discontinued.
The pump: i had like 11 items in my order. They are going to partially ship some of the orders to me while the rest are waiting for the stock to come in. They said they won't be charging me for the additional delivery. And they also pointed out that it's under the T&C that they have the power to refund the money if they run out of stock.
Not happy…none of the items in my order was fulfilled. Oh well.
Got all 4 of my GH World Tour bundles today. They only charged like $10 for regular shipping and they sent it by TNT! Good on Sanity for fulfilling the entire order!
They sent me another copy of Singstar Abba bundle. I only ordered one. The stupid game keeps calling my singing awful. I don't need a spare copy!
My order status changed to complete. They haven't charged or shipped me Halo 3 & COD. I assume they canceled these games. My other order for Guitar Hero 3 is pending. I expect this will be canceled on Monday.
I'm happy I received some games. Sanity did well attempting to fulfill these orders.

Got an email the other day stating all my games have been shipped, minus Virtua Fighter 5, as it was not in stock, and will not be fulfilled either. Overall I'm pretty happy, as this was the game I wanted the least, and was only getting due to it being incredibly cheap.
I got all my 14games totalling $200+ yesterday, nothing missing :)
