No support for LTE on 2100Mhz, and no 3G on 900Mhz. This phone would not be particularly suitable for the Optus network.

    • Really? But optus sold me a LG G2. I know nothing about frequencies though.

      • We are talking about the D800 version here which does not support certain frequencies in Australia, the one you get from optus is D802 which is fine.

    • wow. Thanks for pointing that out. I was just getting warmed up to buy this

  • anyone know if it would be good on vodafone?

  • Cheap for sure. But the model (D800) is the US model so no LTE compatibility in Australia.

  • 700MHz LTE - fastest LTE on Optus & Telstra…

    • +4

Again, that is the US 700MHZ (17) not our Aus 700MHZ frequency (B28).

      So not the same 700MHZ.

      • There is anedotal evidence that this frequency might work because some people got the AT&T Lumia 635 from Amazon last month and was able to use it on Virgin 4G, see link here

        • That is a good finding. Cheers.

  • +3

I will skip this for asus Zenfone 2.

  • Would be okay for 3g though?

  • GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 850/1900/2100, LTE 850/1900/700/AWS*

So 2100 and 900 there for optus 3g?

    • no sorry missed that no 3g on 900. a bit sad.

  • ZE550ML for AUD 247 plus shipping = 267 - 5 dollar new customer coupon = 262 shipped. I just got it, awesome phone, but only 720p. Supplier: eglobalcameras.

  • This would be a good deal if it was the international or Australian model.
Though I think all SD phones can have all the LTE bands enabled if you root the phone.

  • Lollipop is currently rolling out at the moment for G2 if anyone is interested :)

    I haven't got mine yet though :(

  • battery is smaller in the zenfone 2500mah compared to 3000 on the lg

  • Off topic but is this a scam? 19.99 AUD for a Xiaomi Note 4G

I can let you know as I just purchased one

    • What is this, if its true this is a real bargain…im not sure if u would pull the trigger on it tho. Let me know haha

    • Too good to be true.

      • Yeah just what im thinking tbh must be one of them fakes

    • From Item location:
      深圳市, 广东省, China

      100% Fake.

      • Just means it from Guangdong Province which is one the industrial hearts of china

        • I know but those Xiaomi from China directly 95% are fake.

        • @superforever: yeah true most probably is fake.

        • @Playdium:

Especially for $19.99, they may just want people to pay and try their luck :p

I am just wondering if it is fake or could not receive it. How difficult to get money back if pay by paypal.

not sure how you were expecting a $240 item to be sold for $20? you will have to open a paypal case and will be refunded the money.. why go thru this hassle in the first place?

      • +1

The message from ebay is ambiguous, they are basically saying that whilst they have shut down the sale, it still stands and that we should expect our goods to be delivered.

For 20$ its not a hassle at all.

  • NOTE! It is also being sent via the 'Global Shipping Program'!

This is the absolute WORST postage service I've ever encountered. It will take at least a month to reach you, that is after you track/watch it move like a zig-zag all over/across the USA, by road, before it makes it anywhere close to an airport. (My last package zig-zagged across the USA for almost 3 weeks, before it finally found an airport, then it stopped over at Honolulu for 4 days, unknown what the holdup was, it just got worse after that.

If you see any seller using the Global Shipping Program, either demand an alternative, or avoid at all costs, from my experience.

zig-zagged across the USA for almost 3 weeks

sounds like they're avoiding the authorities !
