  • Nice price, the only caveat I can see is that the wireless only supports WEP. Most people these days use WPA, and thus will require the user to downgrade their wireless network (security settings) back to WEP to use this device wirelessly.

  • Nice catch.. and 800x600 will look nice in a 8"
I have 2 wifi AP, So WEP problem solved :)

    • Would you please explain?

  • luckily i didnt but this last week..thanks for the deal..

  • great deal

  • yes i think this one is ok, but i saw alot of shops are having sale on digphoto frame thesedays (JB, HN, DS, etc)
shop around 1st before you buy

  • the price of this looks good…but why would anyone want to go on facebook on a digital photo frame?

  • Aww man I missed out, I just bought a Kodak P725 - nice frame and screen but no remote or Wifi.

Any chance of getting a one off special? :)

    • its only starting tomorrow at 11am..you still can get one if you want

      • me=retarded

  • Excellent - I've been looking at getting one of these as a present for my folks, all sorted now! (just have to remember to buy one tomorrow).

  • Sigh! Only WEP supported. Otherwise, will buy one.

    • just use mac address filtering, less latency, and fairly secure.

unless your in a very populated zone, and someone is gonna flog your Internet I don't think you really need to worry about it too much.

      • I think the bigger issue is allowing people access to your PC via your Wifi.

Although MAC address spoofing and WEP cracking require at least some technical know-how which most people cannot be bothered with, so you are fairly safe.

At the end of the day you could always turn off the WEP and go old school with a SD card or USB stick.

        • The problem is that I have to reconfigure all my PCs to accommodate the picture frame.

  • I think i will buy one, cause i've been wanting to get one of these ever since my dog died, so i can slideshow all his photos.

My wireless security is WEP anyway, i thought that was pretty secure. Never had a breach in the ~4 years i've been using wifi. This is a good deal regardless of the wifi, cause the screen has a good res. I've seen a lot out there that are only 234 pixels height. This also has a remote which is good.

$15 postage to Brisbane. Total $90. Pretty good, i don't think there's any money to be saved by getting something without the wifi.

  • I like the "Group Frames" and "email pushing" functions. It looks good if you put one frames in your parent's home. and then you can push your latest photo to them by email even your are far away in anywhere of the world. cool!

  • Discount code DPFSAVE50 is now active but be quick! This sale will end at 1pm sharp or while stocks last.

    • Ordered!, nice bargain.

      • ditto, thx!

  • hope the quality is good..as i've just received one of my digital photo frame and it seems to be out of my expectation and still waiting for their support replies..

kogansales > im not trying to say your product is not good..in fact i've bought a few items, just the photo frame having issues now..hope you understand..
