Just would hate to see you get a knock on the door, I know your taking the piss though :)

  • +2

Not compatible with Windows 8 it seems.

  • +2

Note that this is an older version of the software (released 2010!) and does not support Windows 8, UEFI etc.

    Version 12 does, but it's a $30 upgrade/$50 full price.

  • +2

So what does it do exactly? Defrag? Sounds very hyperbolic.

  • +1

If this version is an old releases not supporting the latest OS, UEFI and hardware then I think they should give it away for free. Don't see the point in buying if you have a newish computer.

  • +1

So it doesn't support computer bought from 2012 and on, or any older ones that have been upgrade to windows 8.
And they still want half the money. If Harvey Norman had it it would be in a bargain bin for $1.
    Not really a deal.

(plus what foes it actually do, monitor Smart earnings on hdd and defrag)

Description made it sound so critical, with the time bombs and stuff.

There are freeware apps that do the same thing.

Macrium Reflect Free is good enough for most people. Highly recommended!

  • Acronis® Disk Director® 11 Home! for $9.99

Deal for same product was posted on OZbargain 11/09/2013

    Only comment was by bchliu:

Is this a bargain for a 3 year old piece of software? Also.. "Windows 8 and systems with UEFI are not supported" = Ouch..

Not much of a deal for 5 year software at $24.99 (This might even be US$)
