For anyone that's tried to buy one of these, the cheapest you will find them is about $10. Very effective for releasing trigger points and getting rid of tight muscles. They were on sale on Sunday for $4 but I think that may have finished. I bought 5 from the Southland store and they still had heaps of stock left.

Perhaps the spikes are so sharp that they rip the flesh from the bones.
You made me choke with laughter
I saw these in a Japanese store once, but instead of Massage Balls, they called them Ball Massagers.
ouch !
how big are these things?
…about the same size as the TWO dollar ones at the reject shop.
what size is that?
Around the size of the ones at target
Good to stop the dog snoring.
At Kmart, they sell them for $2. Aerial brand.
I'm assuming these are pretty hard? Not the soft spongey ones that are useless for massage?
I too want to know how big are these things?
A little bit bigger than a tennis ball. They last virtually forever. I think they are different hardnesses though - the purple one I have is way harder than my mum's blue one.
Forever hasn't occurred yet and won't in anyone's living memory.
Pretty sure I waited forever for the bus yesterday. So….
Aren't you smart
I paid $20 for it at my myo >.>
Decent price if it is firm enough.
My go to ball shop is Hart Sports. Anyone on the Northside of Brisbane should go have a play at their show room/shop. So much good stuff. Like a a Rebel Sport where you're allowed to play with everything.https://www.hartsport.com.au/categories/fitness---training/m…
i got these last week for $4 from target (part of the toys).. they are great. 8cm… pretty much the same at our yoga studio (or physio, podiatrist etc.. for $25)
good stuff…. but is their normal price.
Nice! I missed out when Aldi had similar a few weeks ago.
Also, can't believe there's no puns here about "getting rid of tight muscles" -> tight glutes -> TightArse ?
how does it get rid of the muscles ?
