Asus DSL-N12E and TP-Link TD-W8960N are both better and cheaper options IMO ($37 and $42 at MSY for example).

I prefer belkin over TP link or Asus

After owning 2 belkins I'd take any brand over belkin .

      • I agree with you. I'd better stay away from this brand

      • I agree with you,too.

    • Belkin make some good products but routers aren't one of them

      • Surprising since they bought linksys and some of their old units were Legendary .

        • Thought Cisco bought linkys?

Don't trust their routers and by these comments I'd rather Asus or tp link

    • Isn't Tenda just rebranded TP-Link gear?

  • i had till few weeks before, was having a problem when devices in ur home exceed more than 7, IP's are limited to 6 devices and they tend to loose connections (like chrome cast) if exceed. still a good router.

  • It says modem router. Is it an ADSL2+ Modem + Router or just the router alone?

The nicest thing I can say about these is I've replaced a lot of them with better brands.

Had it and still hate it even after a year of getting rid of them

I had a belkin ac1600 that had the same appearance as this one (so I'm guessing they are from the same range) and I'm turned off belkin for good after it.

It was god awful with several disconnections daily. As time went on it got much worse to the point any high traffic caused it to disconnect and require rebooting. Went back to the crappy Telstra bundled modem and it was fine. Eventually took the piece of crap back to Officeworks after it started disconnecting every 5 minutes.

Got a billion 7800vdpx and it hasn't dropped a connection yet (~6 months) and squeezed an extra 1-2 mbps with SNR tweaking.
