E-Class & C-Class Coupe are both end of life models hence why they are trying to get rid of them.

  • Is it easy to screw down the price on a Mercedes going from dealer to dealer?
What about using a price broker?

Sorry silly question. What does 0% comparison rate mean?
Is it interest free? So, you pay 0% interest?

a comparison rate on a finance contract is the effective interest rate after all fees and charges are taken into account. Whenever you see a comparison rate given, they will usually provide a set of parameters that allowed them to come to that calculation (i.e. $60,000 borrowed, 3 year term etc..).

For example you might have 2 banks offering 5% home loans. Bank 1 may have a comparison rate of 5.45% and Bank 2 may have a comparison rate of 5.65%. If you are using the same set of parameters for both loans (Say $150,000 for 25 years), this would tell you while they both charge the same interest rate, Bank 2 has higher monthly fees, setup fees or some other form of charges (brokerage/commissions paid)

That is correct. If you meet their lending criteria and stick to the repayments you will pay no interest (or fees) over the three year term of the loan.

Comparison rate is the true rate of a loan and was a term introduced to provide a level playing field when comparing loans. Prior to that financial services providers would quote a low interest rate to get you in the door and then sign you up to a loan that included an establishment fee, annual fees, etc. which resulted in the true interest rate (i.e. what you are paying for the loan) to be much higher than what was advertised.
