  • E-M5?

    • Googling the SKU (V204042BA000) suggests yes. Great price for this kit.

      • Yes. I found this out. I was giving the OP the opportunity to put that in his/her title. I bought an E-M1 last year. It is a superb camera.

  • Crazy clearance prices. This was the camera of the year just 3 years ago.

  • 35 focus points for under $700?

The sample pictures don't seem to have much colours.

    • for me its about image quality, focus speed, lens availability and low light capabilities. this has is all. you can change the colour in the settings and each brand will have their own colour reproduction. for $559 its a bargain. the only con about this camera is no focus peaking and built in flash which the em10 has but no 5 axis ibis or weather sealing

      • I've owned this camera for about 18mo now and I can report one other failing. Its video is very much below par. It's so bad that it's only worth bothering with as a last resort. It is always hunting for focus which is very annoying. Apart from that, it's a nice little camera.

        • Really I hear it's very good at taking clear, steady video due to the 5 axis stabilisation.

        • are you using the kit lens? my f1.8 lenses have no trouble focusing in street light situations

        • @bbyboy:

          Yes, I have the 12-50 and 40-150. I'd love the 45mm 1.8.

Ok, so apparently there is a work around to make the woeful video better. It involves using manual focus and using the autofocus button when you need to change focus (requires a button reassignment).

Sorry to harp on about the video but I was REALLY disappointed in the video considering what I paid for the camera (plus 12-50 and 40-150): $1250.

      • Workaround to focus peaking is possible by assigning one of the art filter to one of the function buttons. I've been using it for my Samyang lens.

  • i know there is a work-around but too much trouble and i dont want to replace my function button. ill just stick to m43 lens, the autofocus is accurate and fast
