      • I used an app to check the battery cycle and it's 0 so it should be all good. I also don't see any scratches.

What are you even talking about? It is a second hand iPhone. What was the carrier name on the SIM?

        • @bargainshunter:

          AT&T

          So, a USA market iPhone.

          Was the box still sealed?

AT&T iPhones are sold with an AT&T SIM inside.

        • @A3Australia: yeh, it was sealed. I looked at the battery - cycle count is zero so new battery.

I emailed Kogan and they said some of their phones are plan bundle phone, like you suggested. So it's all good

AT&T iPhones supplied as part of a "plan" are carrier locked to AT&T. The re-seller who sold the phone to Kogan may have started the unlocking process by submitting the phone's IMEI number, without opening the phone's packaging. When you activate the phone it should complete the unlocking process.

I would still check with Apple Australia to see if/when the phone was activated. Just in case.

  • Did everyone got the phone ? Mine(6+ 64G Gold) still not send yet.

Mine(6+ 64G Gold) still not send yet.

That was the model/capacity that was meant to be sold/supplied by Kogan Australia, and to be delivered from Melbourne.

I think that, if it has not been delivered by now, they (Kogan Australia) never had any.

      • got an email advise no stock available for 64gb 6+.
Offer to refund my money :(

        • Did got your that email at ebay own mailbox?

      • I do think so.

  • it was sent from Kogan email not ebay inbox.

    • Thanks
My Email got problem must be I missed.

Surely they have to be taking the piss with option 1. Why in God's name would anyone here actually choose to receive store voucher for a monumental stuff up on their end? - not to mention, why would anyone WANT to buy again from Kogan after this crappy experience.

      • would anyone know, with Option 1, would you be getting store credit inclusive of the 20% discounted by eBay?
or just the amount you paid without the eBay discount?

  • 6+ 64GB are from Kogan Australia, they had stock but don't want to give to you with promotion price & grabed payment before they had stock, which offenced australia consumer law, maybe you guys should report to consumer affairs like I did, even I still haven't got any feedback from CA.

  • Grab one from mobileciti as 1175 after 100 off with eBay's code. Just seems can't get further 2% from cashrewards, cause the code not list on cashrewards website. Anyway you have 2 yr local warranty now.

    • What is the code for $100 off?

      • CHEERS,until 27/04,10%off up to 100

        • Thanks. But that code is only valid for your account :(

        • @nguyentai8:
EXTRA 10% OFF your order 150$ or more when you check out with paypal and use this coupon code.
Code verified working on 21 April 2015. It may works for selected sellers only.

        • @guijiansh:
This is the message I get.
This redemption code is linked to another eBay account

          thanks anyway

I ordered the same (6+ 64GB gold).Every time I contacted them they told me my order has processed and I will receive it shortly (last time was two days ago). Thinking of just cancelling the order and getting one from apple store. Would be happy if they told me earlier they couldn't supply it instead of letting it drag for so long. Left a pretty bad taste for the brand and they wouldn't be getting any recommendations from me.

  • anyone here who ordered the iphone 6 128 GB grey? It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't got it.

  • I was just noticed that mine was delayed yet another week. It's been 25 days and I've had enough. Cancelling my order tonight.

I don't think I've ever been this disappointment with a company so far. They lied to me at every turn, promising the delivery of the item 'mid next week' for three weeks in a row now.

    Shame on you Kogan, shame.

  • Kogan kept lying to everything, they said they issued a refund, after ten days can't see the refund, until I ask eBay to give me refund, then next day refund in my paypal account. What does Kogan do is grab your money asap then back to you as late as possible. I will add comments to all the Kogan related post, warning those people never with Kogan.

  • I just got my Iphone 6 128 GB (grey).. Took 28 days! and it is a A1549 GSM model, from USA!

I had to raise a ticket to their helpdesk last week Wednesday to chase this up.

I just got my Iphone 6 128 GB (grey).. Took 28 days! and it is a A1549 GSM model, from USA!

But you purchased an iPhone 6 128GB that was sold as being supplied by Kogan Australia, and that was supposed to be delivered from Melbourne Australia.

I presume that this phone was delivered to you from a different company/seller, and from Hong Kong? effectively making you a private importer of a grey import iPhone. (Grey market import to Hong Kong - then privately imported from Hong Kong to Australia).

That phone is now not just second hand, it is third or forth hand, or more. Sold by Apple or a carrier in the USA. Then sold to Kogan Hong Kong. Then sold to you via Kogan Australia. With perhaps a middle man in the USA as well.

You paid for an Australian Market iPhone. A phone with a one year local warranty supported by Apple Australia, and with the two year Australian Consumer Guarantee. You now have a USA Market iPhone with no local warranty and no Australian Consumer Guarantee.

If nothing goes wrong in the next two years and you do not need to make a warranty claim, and you never need an out of warranty replacement, or a screen replacement, it may just have been worth the saving over really buying local. (I know that you believed that you were buying a local model from an Australian business).

      • yeah i know.. i thought it was an Australian stock as it's written here in ozbargain, and since it's coming from Melbourne.. oh well i hope everything goes well in the next 2 years!

      • i just checked my iphone's details on https://selfsolve.apple.com/.. The phone I got from Kogan is legit and never been used, and it is eligible for a 1 year repair and service warranty in Australia.

          I think you are confused.

You have already stated that you have received a USA Market iPhone.

I also have a USA Market iPhone. I can enter the IMEI and get similar information. It just means that your phone has a warranty - NOT necessarily that that warranty is supported by Apple Australia for repair/replacement in Australia. It also does not mean that you are eligible for out of warranty replacements here in Australia.

Of course your phone may not have been "used". The date of first activation will be the date shown as the start of the warranty. (12 months before the warranty expiry date). However, your phone is still 2nd, or 3rd hand. Apple supplied it to someone, they then sold it to someone, that someone sold it to Kogan Hong Kong, Kogan HK sold it to you.

  • Just got a letter from CA, they said they can do nothing with this case, they can't force Kogan to do anything. So, what help CA can give about this sort of dispute?
