I bought this laptop for uni and I absolutely adore it. Its nice and fast, even without a full ssd, the ram makes up for it. The screen is beautiful and it has a decent battery life for coursework (About 6-7 hours for word/powerpoint/excel. 4-5 hours for watching media content. 3 hours if playing non intensive games.)
Its also powerful enough to edit videos on, however you will need the AC adapter plugged in otherwise the program will always crash.
The only gripe I have is with the touch pad, while it's smooth it does have a strange texture when using it. Some may prefer it, I just find a little uncomfortable to use.
