  I had the Kaiser Baas till yesterday. I returned it due to the fact i couldnt install much more apps because it had only 4 gb. Ofcourse there were other factors too. Just wasnt worth it. This is about half price though still 4 gb. Is there anyway you can install apps on memory card? Plus this doesnt come with XBMC pre installed. But i guess thats not too hard to put on.

      many video will be ip blocked so to bypass that must use all tricks found in forums or simply go download third party streaming apps and watch on those live tv apps or china's own youtube app etc.
      It is android so it can install English apps left right center as long as one can manage to get the English interface up.

      4GB memory is more than enough to install little apps its OTG function was very good as well.

        Do you have the Mi Box Mini or the normal Mi Box 3rd Enhanced edition ?
        Did you manage to root/jailbreak and install Play Store, XBMC, ShowBox etc ?

  I dont want to comment if it is bargain, you can always buy a cheaper one from China.

  More concern about the usability, I ended up sending my MI Box back to China because I could not use it in Australia after reset, it needs to be activated in China and get back to a normal MI interface. So, I will call this a NO go.

    Did you read through all of the MIUI threads, I dont think you need to send it to China to activate it after a reset. You have not tried enough. But I agree its not for the faint hearted, lot of flashing/sideloading/jailbreak required, but probably takes 3-4 hours max to get all setup and once done, its probably the best box for its price.

    Btw even if you ask a friend/relative to buy in China and ship it you via normal post, it will still end up costing more. That way we can ask people to buy 24 packs of noodles for CNY 49 and get it while coming back to OZ :D
