  • can it be turned into a motorised esky?

    • most likely, if you know what your doing.

      • will i get in trouble with the police though?

          Don't think you need a licence if they're under 30Litres…

        • @rowenaduncan:
          under 30Litres of beer?

          @tuzii:

          No - 30litre esky (joking)

  • I have no idea about eskys but wife wants one for picnics and parties. Is this a good one? Masters has it for $48 so it's cheaper than other places.

    I did try to Google reviews but nothing came up.

      Some esky buying tips:
      Make sure it is tall enough to handle the drinks you want to put in, eg wine bottle, bottle coke
      Make sure it is wide enough to put in your favourite food container or plates.
      Think about what you will put in it… That will guide you size wise.
      Generally, buy a branded esky (eg Coleman, willow), check wall thickness and that the lid is foam filled, not air filled.
      Make sure handle is solid and that the lid can be securely closed.

    These have really flimsy handles. The one on mine pops out sending the drinks everywhere. The lid doesn't lock down either (I have the 10L one)

  • Thats not an Esky!
    Real Eskys were steel on the outside. But the company went broke, and the American mega-corporation Coleman bought the name :(

    Is this one Australian made (some still are), or Chinese?
