Seems like you can get $10 voucher for every $100 spend on deposited funds into your Christmas account at Myer. Vouchers are sent out in November. They must be desperate for sales. Vouchers good for gifts whilst the deposited amount good for a gift to yourselves :)

  Ugh what? Is this just 10% interest being paid in Myer vouchers? This is soo good, if you know you make big purchases during Christmas this is like an amazing investment

  Can I just open an account, deposit $5k then come Christmas get my $500 voucher and just withdraw my $5k?

  So this sounds just like buying a, say $100 giftcard and getting a $10 bonus giftcard. Same deal as offered by David Jones every once in a while, except you get the bonus right away with DJ vs waiting until November for Myer?

  Personally I'd rather wait for the DJ deal closer to Xmas so my money isn't stuck in a Myer account earning interest for Myer. Plus I've been successful in pricematching most Myer sales at DJs.

    Seems like October 1 is the cutoff date for the year. So technically you can put in the amount you intend to spend near that date and then get the voucher in early nov. There's no need to put money in now

      The terms state a min of $20 and max of $350 per month. Unless there is some top up option which I couldn't find.
