Normally Mailbird Pro costs $45 for a lifetime registration. However, they're currently doing a crowdfunding promotion and you can get the same for $30 SGD which is roughly $30 AUD.
The features and benefits of pro are outlined here: http://www.getmailbird.com/free-is-awesome-pro-is-better/
I decided to go for the paid version because Mailbird has certainly changed my life. I don't know any other desktop client that can search as quickly which I find invaluable.
So do you get a free upgrade to mailbird 3.0? or is it just a lifetime licence to 2.0?
I've wanted to get rid of outlook for such a long time and yet most email clients are either lightweight or annoying..
Might try the free 1.0 version and see if it's any good..
My only real wish is that it could sync google contacts so that way i don't have multiple contact lists and can keep it all in one..
