Hey guys,
I was going to sell my Lycosa but I forgot the name of the keyboard so I googled it then saw this amazing deal @Catchoftheday. Almost 100 bucks off retail and 20 bucks cheaper than the cheapest seller on EBay!
Enjoy!

Cherry MX Blue/Brown clones.
Thx guys
I couldn't see what type of mechanical keys it uses?
Depends if it's 2013 or 2014 stock.
2013 model uses Cherry MX Blue.
2014 model uses clone switches.

They look exactly the same apart from packaging and the back label on the keyboard.
I thought the 2012 were the last of the lineup to use cherry blues?
Nah they introduced the clones last year.
r u mechkb.com ?????
@DaftPunk2525: Nope.
Btw, it's 'Razer' :)
The title was fixed, as it was incorrect. Unsure as to why 3 people downvoted.
Thanks OP, used your referral. Have been looking all weekend at keyboards and was about to buy a razer on Ebay.

Not sure if it's the same keyboard but a BF4 version for $90
Nice find. It's the BF4 version of the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard. Same keyboard just with Battlefield 4 theme on it with orange LED key lights instead of the standard green. In my opinion that's a better deal for $89.95 + P&H. Better bang for the buck for what is essentially hardware wise the same keyboard just the BF4 model at $20 less.
Beats this deal in the thread title.
Haha I saw the bf4 too but I liked the green one better=]. Still a massive bargain tho haha
Both are technically the same keyboard. Only difference is the BF4 theme colours and the orange LED on the BF4 model. But $20 less than the bog standard model is a nice bargain.
@hollykryten: haha yeh I guess it came down to personal preference
@hollykryten: The BF4 version also has Cherry MX Blue switches, if that's a matter of concern :)
Yes the BF4 (Collector's Edition) version does have real Cherry MX Blue switches which in my opinion makes it better than the 2014 version with its clone switches.
@hollykryten: lol I think you have made Ur point by constantly stating bf4 is better..
Unfortunately the best time to have bought this was a week or so ago. With the free shipping + 15% off tech sale.
Not sure if it was being sold a week ago at this price. But still this for $89.95 + $8.87 P&H is a nice deal none the less.
Just bought it myself. Cheapest on eBay from an Australian seller for the BF4 version of Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard is $132.
Yep it was, I remember doing the calculations and contemplating on whether to get one at ~$76 or so.
But yes, still good :)
hey guys just confirmed with COTD rep , this is the 2014 version
the battlefield 4 one as well?
This web page says it's a 2013 version. So i would think it has Cherry MX switches instead of the clone keys in the 2014 version. So i'd assume that the Battlefield 4 model is actually better than the newer 2014 version. And the Battlefield 4 version is actually going $20 cheaper too.
"Razer used Battlefield 3 as the theme design last year while 2013’s design scheme would be DICE’s Battlefield 4 which arrives next month."

Also here's a video review on Youtube of the BF4 Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard.
There are no revisions of the BF4 version, and are therefore Cherry MX Blue switches, rather than the Razer clone switches.
Actually the page that i linked to says the BF4 model is a 2013 version so therefore real Cherry MX switches. The BF4 model is actually a Collector's Edition keyboard. It's a kind of cosmetically modified Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 keyboard.
@hollykryten: Yep :) There's only 1 version of the BF4 keyboard, which are only Cherry MX switches.
This looks awesome btw, could be neater though : http://i.imgur.com/OLTqynW.jpg
Yes the $90 + P&H in my opinion is a great deal for a real brand name Cherry MX switch illuminated keys mech gaming keyboard.
Sorry I Didn't ask for the bf4 one
It's amazing to think people once let out a huge sigh of relief when mechanical keyboards were replaced, now their all the rage …… it's like watching Knickerbockers been re-born as Capris.
Much better price than the past 2 months when it had been $129.95.
The BF4 edition has been $89.95 for that time too, until about 2 weeks ago during the end of the tech sale when it was 15% off when added to cart.
I kind of felt cut because I ordered a BF4 edition over a month ago, since I couldn't resist with THANKYOU code stacked on free shipping. Could have saved $3.50!
i cant see what the big deal is about.
129$ at msy and shopfront for warranty.
so this saves 10$ and warranty hassles included free
neg away guys :)
Hi Guys, anyone have opinion, experience (preferred) of this compared to a Corsair K95 White (non-RGB)?
Seems games are requiring more key functions/macros these days, Altis Lfe for eg, whilst a couple of years old the K95 has plenty of them.

Cheers!
Just got my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Battlefield 4 Collector's Edition keyboard from COTD. It's indeed a 2013 version of the Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard with its real Cherry MX Blue switches and is Australian stock. I didn't think i would be buying a brand new Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard for $100 delivered.
I couldn't see what type of mechanical keys it uses?
