    I can't pretend to know much about these, but this $19.99 one from repco might be a good comparison:

    …Repco's one has a lithium battery while oo's is Ni-cd… Lithium-ion is in the latest laptops and phones while ni-cd is a bit outdated I think and can have problems like memory effect.

  I've got a GMC one that uses capacitors instead of batteries. It charges in about a minute and lasts maybe one computer assembly worth. There's no memory effect in batteries to worry about - you can charge it from any state. It would be ideal if I had two handsets, so always one in the charger. Got it at Graysonline quite cheap (though not as cheap as this one).
