Included with the X-A1 is the XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS lens; a wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens that provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-76mm. Optical image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake and a high-speed stepping motor provides fast and accurate focusing performance. Three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion elements are integrated into the optical construction to minimize chromatic aberrations and improve image sharpness and clarity while a Super EBC coating has been applied to reduce flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color fidelity.

I know they are different formats, but how does this compare to the Nikon D3200 or Canon 600D, which is roughly the same price? Pros/cons?
one quick question. I am a newbie with mirrorless cameras. Are all the fuji lenses compatible with this model?
Aussiejamesbond, I believe so, but not the other way round: the lens with it is an XC lens and is not compatible with the X-Pro1 and X-E1 without updating their firmware.
LoungeLizard: The X-A1, Nikon D3200, and Canon 600D are all APS-C format, with sensor sizes 23.6x15.6, 23.2x15.4, & 22.3x4.9mm respectively. Unlike the X-E1 on which it's based, the X-A1 has no viewfinder. Compared with the Nikon & Canon, the X-A1's cons include nearly double the shutter lag and no self-cleaning sensor. Pros are image stabilisation and more focus points.
You can compare sizes at CameraSize, and specifications at Snapsortor cameradecision.com. There are reviews of the cameras with their kit lenses at What Digital Camera, and analyses of reviews at Alatest.
When will next em-1 deal come with 12-40 pro lens?
