My local EB have no problem price matching stores with no stock. They also have no problem price matching prices I make up or for sales that have ended or not yet started, because they don't even ring to check anymore.

I had a problem Price matching as the shop wasn't in the same complex (stupid right?) But JB will price match it no question.

Imagine if Monster Hunter followed the same pricing structure of Evolve. 15 bucks per monster and 7.50 per weapon class! 3 monsters and 4 classes in the vanilla kthx. AAA is best A? Not likely.

I'm unfamiliar with Target's catalogue prices. Do they expire before the next catalogue comes out? (I'm assuming that's monthly)
Target releases a catalogue weekly. Each catalogue lasts 1 week and goes from Thur-WED. So these specials will start 2mrw and go till next Wednesday

Picked up my MH4U from Southland EB price matched to Target. No issues and didn't need to call to confirm stock.
Also learnt that you can order anything from EB Online store through a retail store, and you get free shipping delivered to your EB World registered address.
Ordered an XL dock from the online store via Southland EB as they hadn't received their stock yet. :)
