Borders is offering 30% off one full-priced book with this coupon. As usual, you should be able to print out a few and line up a few times or drag some friends in to help out!

even with 30% off, Borders is still more expensive that bookdepository.com with free international shipping…. so even with the discount, I don't think this is a bargain.
Alot of people buy from stores because they dont want to wait for the book to ship to there house, therefore it is a bargain for those people
Agreed. I buy all my books from bookdepository, however for those who cannot wait this is a good deal.
PS: I can wait ;)
Wow, thanks.
About half the price of any store in Australa. for some of the books I buy, and about 60% cheaper than borders for another… Too bad they don't have magazines (what I buy most from borders are international magazines).
Check the website of the magazine and look at international subscriptions. I got a 12 month subscription for US Esquire, for $20, where Borders were selling one issue for about $15.
Last time I checked it was only a small saving so I never bothered, I actually checked a few days ago and found out I can save heaps now that the exchange rate is so good and borders has increased the price of one of my magazines.
It's a bargain to those that don't like to wait.
good deal. voted positive.
i wish Angus & Robertson had something similar.Angus do have 20% off and free shipping at the moment ends tommorrow it was posted here last week

thanx for the link
unfortunately the books I want to buy are out of stock.
although they sell them in their brick-and-mortar stores.
the promotion is for Interent purchases only.
This is a great deal, I always use these coupons when they come out!
Bookdepository isn't always cheaper. You should check the local stores before committing. Ie. Borders had the Bourne Deception for $19.95 when it first came out, whereas BD was close to $30 + shipping time.
I usually use Booko.com.au to check those things too..
Agreed,, it's always worth checking on Booko first.
Nine times out of ten you'll then end up finding that it's cheapest at The Book Depository UK or their US site.

Just got the link in the email - 30% up to 3 books. Saves some paper and trips. ^^ http://rgr-static1.tangentlabs.co.uk/email/20091027_au/30_co…
I remember printing this 30% coupon last time and going to borders to find a book to purchase. Couldn't find anything interesting to buy and decided to give the coupon away to people who were waiting in line. And I don't know why but all of them refused to take it…I was like wtf why won't they want a discount?
Yes, I remember doing the same thing - one person took it, the others just gave me a suspicious look and refused. Too bad for those people!
I always print two (on one page, usually the bottom of each one gets cut off nowadays though) and give one to anyone in the store, never had someone not accept it.
do not worry about them. they just wanted to pay the full price.
do not ask me why, cause they are … illogical.
cooL!
