    AirAsia prices starting to fall?

    • +2

      Pun intended???

Just looks like they're going down

      Thats not funny or nice

  • spotted and noted a few cheap AirAsia flights yesterday, mainly within Asia though.

if you can get to KL or SIN cheaply, then there's cheap options to dart around SE Asia.

Still owed refund from AirAsia pulling out of Adelaide
I won`t be using them for long distance any more

    • How long have you been waiting?
      Tried CC charge back?

    • +1

Same here man. I've been waiting since mid December.

      I had the following tickets:

      Adelaide to KL: Not refunded
      KL to HK: refunded.

It's getting rather annoying and I'll never fly with this useless company again.

      • AirAsia is great… Until something goes wrong. Then, suddenly, you have no reliable form of contact outside of a Malaysian call centre and no Australian on-ground support.

They lost my bag and had no file on record that it had been lost. After a long-time tracking the bag through third parties I eventually tracked the bag to a solo 'contract' courier who had the bag stored on his private property. I had to go to his house to physically collect it, and he had a bunch of other bags that I can only assume probably never got collected.

I am also waiting on refunds and they are charging me a $50 fee per flight to be refunded and refuse to refund half of my tickets on other BS grounds which wouldn't fly under Australian consumer laws.

  • That's a damn good price for an awesome place to visit!

    • Only lack of a good airline to fly with

  • Just added Sydney to Hong Kong $468 return on Scoot.

  • Going through the CC chargeback at the moment
Was prepared to fly to Melbourne for the flights which were an amazing price to India but after the Bali out of Melbourne fiasco dont have faith that they wont just pull the pin there as well.
Have been following their FB page since Christmas and the tales of woe just keep mounting.
Great airline if you can just go to the airport and board but dealing with changes (on their part) is next to impossible.

Qantas is currently offering Adelaide to hong kong $799 return. Great for a full service airline, and best price I've seen given that there is a connection from ADL - MEL. I get use of the awesome Qantas HK lounge, too!

  • Any deals for London/Europe in Aug/Sep coming up?

  • Thanks IWTF.

Hong Kong is awesome! I love visiting that place … food, shopping, culture, stuckup european expats who get upset by "tourists" lol

  • I am wondering how long before these international airlines have to put up their fares priced in $A due to the fall in $A value. Although airlines throughout the world are saving on fuel costs. AirAsia do have seats on sale at the moment, but not the best sale that I have ever seen them have. And if you get off in Kuala Lumpur and re-check in rather than booking baggage etc 'fly-thru' then sometimes there are big savings to be had. (It is a big hassle though)

  • I still can't find THAT price for SYD to HK (ie $468)
