Big Jetstar International & Domestic Sale

80

From 10-50% off - Pretty much every route they have (impressive!). Travel period vary per route, but mostly next year.

Sale now on until midnight (23:59 AEDT) Sunday 1 November 2009, unless sold out prior. Sale may be extended.

Some (international) highlights:
- Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Bangkok: $249
- Sydney to Honolulu: $329
- Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City: $249

Adioso (http://adioso.com) does have some of these fares, but as many of them are 6 months or so into the future we don't have them (yet) as adioso only looks about ~4 months, so you may need to do it the old fashioned slow way and look directly on Jetstar's website.

Happy hunting!

Fenn.

  • Adiosofenn…have seen many tweets from Adioso lately. What's up?

    • Hey there,

We've just been super busy! In fact, we're in San Francisco at the moment doing a big chunk of Adioso enhancements. You're right though, we've been a bit slack with the tweeting. Will have to get back in to the groove.

      Ta for the reminder :)

      Fenn.

    • You can follow @fennb and @tomhoward to keep up with the action.

      • (Oops, updated with links to Twitter instead of Adioso :D )

  • Does the arrow pointing left and right mean return? So Sydney to Gold Coast return is $49?
    And does this include taxes?

    • Hey nemo1990,

I agree, the jetstar site is a bit confusing - It's only one way (despite the confusing arrow) but does include taxes, so sydney to gold coast would be $49 + $49 (as far as I can work out anyway).

      Cheers,

      Fenn.

      • the arrow pointing left and right basically means "vice versa" or "either direction" i.e. Sydney to GC or GC to Syd is $49 one way.

        Therefore return = $49 x 2

  • Hi All, a little off topic, but info for the ones who are uncertain abt travel dates…
Jetstar has reverted back to their previous T and C's regarding name changes.
Name changes now incur a fee plus fare difference. There was a period of time this year where they reverted back to the change fee only for Name Changes… however recently I came across an incident where I had to pay the fare difference.. as the policy was re-introduced by JQ…

It does make getting rid of JQ tickets very hard if for any unforseen circumstances you can't go and need to pass on your tickets to another traveller.. as in m incident we were better off to purchase new tickets when my parents couldn't make the trip!

  • you may need to do it the old fashioned slow way

Well, the following link is supposedly updated every day, so hopefully a lot of these Jetstar/Tiger sale fares will start to show up there, including the flights more than 6 months away…
