Just posted a new deal guys :) check it out

  • was reading more on the company, quite a big globally, launched last year in Aus, the following is from a Forbes news article dated 21st sep, 10,000 jobs is quite a big number (since we are getting a discount so happy to try them out)

"Helpling Australia is a localized version of its European parent, headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The company has operations in Austria, France, Sweden, Italy, Netherlands and Brazil. Only launching in April this year, the company has racked up an impressive 10,000 jobs within the first three months."

    Tried it and sucked,

Person turned up 2 hours late and didn't have any equipment.

  • I do feel for these cleaners though, I'd imagine the'd get less than $10p.h.
My friends wife works in 5 star hotels in Sydney, cleans around 16 - 19 rooms a day with kitchens and gets a lousy $65 a day.
The hotels are all the same now, all contracting to get around the laws. I bet it will soon be the case for a lot of these labour intensive jobs. Zick Hael ! Ve must be competitive in za vorld Market !

People avoid them, I have learned my lesson (helpling is Bad) the hard way, luckily it was discounted. The dude came on time, however could only do 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen in 3 hours (with issues). Their site estimated a lot more than that, I would say what I received was 60% of what they had promised.

  • Need to provide the feedback for the second cleaning.
This time it was much better than the first one. A different cleaner this time, she did a pretty good job and my wife was very happy. I have made another booking (using my voucher). The good thing about the booking system was that I was given the option if I liked to book the same cleaner (the 2nd one) and indeed I did not try another one. I think this is the thing with these broker style cleaning services. If you get a good cleaner then you are happy. However, based on their facebook feedbacks it looks that they do not do a good job in filtering out the cleaners customers were not happy with.
