These are DC fans, relatively new to the market. Supposedly consume less energy, have more speed settings (five compared to three) and run quiter.
It comes with remote and 2 year in home warranty. I purchased x2 white for bedrooms and x1 SS for living room.

PS: Next best was Fansonline @ $269. Tried to price match but best they could do was 20 bucks off each fan and free ship. Better off with Universal.
