This is a great musical. Based on the Award winning movie with the same name, Once is a definite must see! I will be seeing it for the second time this Friday! It is showing at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. Tickets purchased from the Princess Theatre Box Office.

"…Tickets will be available from box office two hours before each performance on a first come, first served basis. I can verify that this works as I have done it myself (my wife is a uni student and I am not) you only need the one card to get two $40 tickets. We were sitting on the ground level in the middle about 5 rows from the stage. The ticket pricing on the actual ticket was $100+ per ticket. So yeah definitely worth it!

  Hope it comes to Brisbane! Been a big fan of Glen Hansards work with the Frames for many years and saw the movie version of this when it was released back in 2006. Great movie and from what I've read it's even better on stage! Nice work OP.

    Cheers! It is quite different to the movie, but I believe they stand side by side with regards to quality and enjoyment! A+++ for me!

  Loved the movie, although that was perhaps due to the incredibly natural acting so unsure how it will transfer to stage without the same actors.

    I have a feeling they started the "Student Rush" deal in December. It will continue till the end of the show in Feb. At least that is what they told me at the Theatre.
