Back on sale again, I picked one up a few weeks back. Look for a free capsules verion, with stickers on the box, then go to http://store.amodomio.com.au/free-capsules/ with the serial number of the machine to claim 2 boxes, total 32 capsules to keep you going. There is no button to select size, I just push the bar back, then stop when the coffee starts to run out, 12 seconds seems to be a good time. I use filtered water in the machine for a clean tasting coffee, better than most cafes!
I prefer the Armonico capsules, available in Coles, around $11 for a 16 pack. If you go to MYER, DJs or TheGoodGuys, you can pick from around 10 different capsules, such as http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lavazza-intensamente-coffee-ca… which is nice and strong. Around xmas, fathers day and mothers day, there may be a lavazza rep giving out free capsules from the different flavours.

Thanks to its compact size, it can fit in anywhere. It is extremely easy to use: rediscover the simplicity of an authentic espresso prepared at home, in just one touch and few seconds, right the way you like it.
Minù features the Stop&Go knob to select the desired quantity of espresso every time, and the small/large cup-support rack, adjustable at two different height settings to prepare both espresso and long coffee.
Minù is also equipped with automatic shutdown function after nine minutes and temperature control functionality.

5 star review here -> http://www.motherpedia.com.au/article/we-try-lavazza-a-modo-…
Thanks for sharing. Wasn't aware of free capsules. Ill try my s/n on my machine which didnt have the sticker on box. Annoying thing is their capsules prices rarely go on sale.
Armonico is my fave too. Bought the orange one and realised that deliziomemte is the same colour! Not as nice as armonico.
