a log of that hours will be spent on grinding and getting the level ups or special weapons… though potentially you probably will take a far longer time if you don't use a game guide/faq.
Does it drag on? Darksiders 2 dragged on a ton, I have no idea how it took me 28 hours to complete that game. I didn't even collect everything.
@kaneissik: It's pretty repetitive but mindless fun. Best played after a long day at work in my opinion :P You just hack and slash lots of enemies over and over and complete stage objectives which usually just require going to a certain part of the map. There's story cutscenes between stages and stuff like that.
@Yuri Lowell: I used to play one of the PS2 versions of it, well, the demo because I was too poor. I had so much fun, haha.

There's actually about 100 hours of story and ambition mode content in the Complete Edition as it includes the original DW8 as well. More than 200+ hours if you want to do absolutely everything, it's a massive game. With that said it's a port of the PS3 version and not the visually better PS4 version which has better textures, better character models, more advanced effects and more enemies on screen at once.
The DLC is not really worth getting. It's mostly cosmetic like costume packs, BGM packs from the older games and stages from the older games but don't offer anything in terms of story.
