I claimed mine under warranty. If your phone is under 2 years old, you should be able to claim.

But the camera purple tint issue is a BIG killer, i'd rather pay $80 more to import a LG G2 instead, bigger screen and camera
New ones don't have that problem.
No purple tint in my photos yet. Yay!
only the early batch (the first 6 mths i think) had that problem (i have two early ones - both fixed/replaced under warranty). HTC apparently changed the camera module supplier and it's all good now.
I got mine last year and it had the purple tint issue, but I returned it under warranty and the new one is fine. I think it's a little random…
Newer batches of this phone shouldn't have the purple tint issue anymore, just like the One Max doesn't have it (they have the same camera, but the Max was released after they fixed it)

anyone that lives in Western Sydney (around Blacktown etc) I checked postcode 2148 and the Mount Druitt store has stock.
also, +1 to being able to claim a replacement for the purple tint issue with the camera, I may just do that. do you know if they replace with a new phone or refurbished? if the latter then I'll just wait for the new model in a few months

Both seem like good phones but the M7 has no microSD slot so I'll just be waiting for a M8

You'd be better off getting an xperia… better camera, bigger screen, waterproof, slimmer body, same price.

at $275 only, its very tempting, bigger 5" screen, especially the 13MP camera, my colleage has a Z2, he showed some of his under water shot, AMAZING !!!
My friend showed me her z3compact, and I was also super impressed by everything on it, especially the camera.
Well they had VF LG G3 for $419 or something awhile back. Just ring around stores and you might still be able to find one. LG G3 is really a good phone.
Was around $600-700 at one DSE store I checked. The M7 is a great phone (I own one and use it heaps).
